Oval frames look very cheap, buy a nice 4x6 silver frame, matt the embroidery canvas and then the frame.

Difficult to work with very thin fabric. All 4 in one piece. I didn't cut and tried to use a large hoop when sewing, but the fabric kept slipping. The included frames are small to match the design, but too small to stabilize them while you work.

This embroidery kit is so cute. There are many small parts in the set, but the result is worth it. The frames look cheap but you can buy other frames if you want. I love the Janlynn kits and will continue to buy them in the future. I think the Jaclyn kits are worth the money.

I had to make it as a gift for my daughter's mother-in-law. The sewing part was fine, but I had to adjust a few stitches to get it looking right. Back then you couldn't use a frame or pad because there was no ledge on the frames! it's just a piece of metal with a straight edge, with no backing to grab hold of.

Want to read reviews first. I thought it was an all inclusive kit, thinking gold frames (cheap plastic) would double as embroidery frames, but it's not. There is no embroidery hoop included and I don't even know how to put fabric in this hoop. You have no support. Very disappointed.

The patterns and colors are great, but the frames are something else. They're plastic, which is what I expected, but they're not very well made. There are bubbles in the plastic and a few rough spots where the mold may not be fully intact. This kit includes pattern guide, basic instructions, thread, needle and 4 embroidery hoops. The speakers are disappointing. They're incredibly cheap plastic and they don't have inserts, so I don't know how they expect you to put your finished work inside. There is no embroidery hoop so you need to bring your own as the hoop is useless. Also, I was missing the black thread needed for parts of the bird's wings as well as some contour work. The colors are beautiful and I seem to have enough yarn to complete the set. However, I was disappointed that the "frames" were cheap plastic - thought I could use them as embroidery.
