Problem with the back and frame
I had to make it as a gift for my daughter's mother-in-law. The sewing part was fine, but I had to adjust a few stitches to get it looking right. Back then you couldn't use a frame or pad because there was no ledge on the frames! it's just a piece of metal with a straight edge, with no backing to grab hold of.
