It worked straight away for LG Smart TV with the first code in the list. All functions work. The LG remote that came with the TV is heavy with tiny buttons, easy to lose and doesn't always work when the button is pressed for the first time. LG also has a bad app that doesn't even turn the TV on and off. So if I lose the remote, I have a big brick. The GE remote is a cool pink color, easy to spot, lightweight, the buttons work instantly when pressed and aren't too small, and best of all, the most important button, MUTE, is easy to find! Addendum: Well here we are 2 weeks later and it's not working anymore. Flashing one of the codes, factory reset, new batteries, nothing helps. The only button that works is the input selector, but then you can't select the input. The red top button flashes, nothing happens. Power button, mute button, nothing else works. It wasn't even dropped. I see some other reviews where they quickly stopped working. Apparently this is a crappy product and should be avoided.
