They are super bright, I mean REALLY bright. I was running a few days ago and someone running in the opposite direction had this bandage on their head and it was blinding me like I was in headlights (so please be kind and wear it around your waist). easy, maybe 7 or 8 innings, but with a wide spread. Another reviewer rated this as negative, but I consider it a positive. I want to see where my feet land so I can't trip and fall. I don't really need to see the block down the street. The power of a magnet through clothing. I do not know. doesn't seem that strong. I can glue some heavy duty rare earth batteries to the door closers. The only real downside to the design is that you have to remove it from the rubber case (and I mean remove it) to access the USB charging port to charge it, which is fine if you only charge it every few times need weeks, but if it happens more often I use a fine knife in a rubber sheath.
