Overpriced but it worked and only one problem.
I have a 1080p TV with horrible upscaling from 720p (10-15% clipping when upscaling) and used it to pop a 720p PS3 signal into a 1080p container and it worked , no more image clipping. I used mine cheaply (about $32) so it wasn't overpriced for me. The only problem I have is very light color streaks. Which is hardly noticeable unless you compare them with each other. When I used this with my PS3 there was no noticeable input lag either so it works for me.
