Very clear, very versatile - exactly what I wanted.

Very clear. I like that it's plastic and not glass. I had a glass cake platter with a domed lid and it was heavy. I have a beautiful glass cake stand, Mom. I've enjoyed using it, but I don't like making foil domes, so I bought it primarily for the topping. Clear, beautiful and very versatile. I imagine it being widely used for birthday parties and proms for my grandkids. I plan to hand wash. I also plan to use round cardboard cake pans so I don't cut the plastic. It's economical. If I can use it 15 times and it breaks I will buy another one. As I get older, I appreciate clear and plastic containers more and more.
