I was concerned that a large box without dividers could hold 60 bottles, but luckily that's not the case. The top 2 rows (closest to the hinges) are divided into 8 compartments of 5 bottles each. The bottom row (closest to the bars) is divided into 2 compartments of 10 bottles each. They're loose enough to be taken off easily, but tight enough not to dangle - they stay where you put them. I am so pleased with this purchase that I immediately ordered a second one. I'm just starting out with Diamond Art and already have over 70 colors. I see it ends up like my cross stitch yarn with multiple boxes of 100 colors!
