This is a great pandemic project when you have free time. I did that in two months. Each step took two to three times longer than I thought. This project gave me a sense of accomplishment throughout the day as I completed each piece. This set is very smart and someone's love. Mine had all the parts. There were a few very slightly warped pieces of wood, but that wasn't a problem. I was concerned about whether there would be enough glue, so I used my own Elmer's Glue All to make all of the paper, paper, and wood books. I was glad I did. There are many books! I think Elmer's glue was easier to use on paper anyway. The project glue in my kit worked very well on wood and metal pieces, as well as paper, and was odorless. I was also very glad that I had a small, battery-powered, desktop OttLite with a magnifying glass. Here are my recommendations.1. Before you start, please read the entire manual carefully. First things first, make wood and paper books while enthusiastic. This would end up being a resistance.3. Don't do the first large bookshelf in the guide first. This is the hardest part. Instead, start with something simple, such as B. Closet 5.4. Check the details of each part against the part number illustrations. Very important. Also, there may be guide marks on the tree that you must make. Connect the pieces before gluing, figuring out where to apply the glue and making sure everything is done right. This project requires a lot of patience.7. If you're impatient or a perfectionist (it's not perfect), or worried that it's made of wood, paper, and fabric, don't buy it.8. Don't buy this for a child. I think even at 14 a child will be very frustrated and possibly lose interest with so much work involved. Color will not give you a solid white wall. It will look a little rustic. I tried white acrylic paint in an artist tube and it didn't work either. I ended up using white artist gesso, but I don't recommend buying it if you don't have it. 10. The kit comes in an excellent box for storing project details.11. Lamp! It works when properly assembled. I just didn't have the skill. I would say it takes a person experienced in such things. I have read the instructions many times, looked at the parts and tried very hard. I ended up cutting the wires and just making a lamp, which was quite difficult. I spend 9 hours over three days. I glued it. When I filled the bookshelves, I thought they didn't look good - too big for the scales and very busy. So I removed it.12. The end product is very cute.
