I'm a big fan of these wireless systems in general. If you do get up and step on the instrument cable, you'll become a fan when you switch. Probably the hardest part is figuring out which of the many systems and different price points is best for your situation. I won't pretend to have the answer for you, but I can say it does for my needs, which are pretty basic. Practice and play alone in my home studio and some limited digital recording with a garage band. Big. This is my second sentence. The first time I went with the more expensive xVive setup. It worked great for about a year, then battery life slowly started to decline and by the time we hit 18 months it was virtually unusable. While I liked the xVives form factor and have nothing bad to say about the sound quality, I think $150 is an insane sum for 18 months. So I contacted their support team and they offered me a small discount on a new kit. . I said "no thanks" because it was still a crazy price for something that lasts 18 months. maybe a little longer if you're lucky. So this time I chose this Getaria solution. The battery life is excellent. I play for several hours a day and only charge once every few days if I think about it. The sound quality is very similar to xVive. It's the same for me, but I honestly can't say that I was able to play side-by-side in the perfect environment. But that's more than enough for me to practice at home (I've been playing for 8 years and consider myself average +). The form factor is probably the biggest difference, and the slightly larger units are less comfortable (doesn't fit as well on a Strat, sticks out a bit on an LP) but doesn't get in the way of the show. Given the choice between these $60 or the $150 xVive, I'm happy with my choice. I've had these few months and would buy them again based on my experience.
