Don't Lose Port
Takes only two TB ports on Macbook Air M1 and returns one. So it's about power. Got it because of the 3 USB ports and used HDMI when traveling. But losing tuberculosis is deadly; There are other similar port expanders that only use one of the TB ports or have the same two-pin design that then return a TB port (most likely pass-through for power) and then have another USB-C port. But I panicked and didn't know all the issues when I ordered this knotted thing. It's nice, but just detrimental for my purposes, and it's too late to bring it back now. Lesson learned (hopefully).
