I've been wearing cotton athletic shorts at home for as long as I can remember. Years ago I bought a pair of Han** or F**** der L*** at my local Whale**** store and they would last for years before being splattered with paint or stained with bleach. that I finally left her. More recently I've found that my shorts only last a few months before holes appear in them. The texture of the fabric has also changed and they seem to be picking up lint and fluff like crazy. Tired of wasting money on low quality shorts, I started looking here for a pair similar to my old ones - good thick cotton. I have ordered four pairs of different brands ranging from $5 to over $25 and these soffes are the only pair worth keeping. I plan on replacing the last of my other shorts with an extra pair now that I've finally found them. m 5'5 ""). I also found the elastic to be strong so it fits tighter around the waist although it is quite stretchy. If you want your shorts to hang freely I would go up a size. If so, a person who should always pull the top tighter, your normal size will be perfect. However, I am a plus size woman and bought size XL. For women, I usually wear 16W/18W.
