Review on 🔧 Metra '07-08 Honda Fit Radio Installation Kit by Jerry Mangum

I've installed hundreds of Metra dashboard kits, most work great. However, this one isn't that good. I would give him a 2.5 if I could, but I have to give him a 2. Benefits - allows you to fit a radio in a Honda Fit. The price is not bad for a brand new dash required to fit the radio. Fit. When using a single din radio, you will get a small bag. Cons - The fit is very poor, the trim ring around the radio does not sit flush. Looks very poor. The radio does not snap into place very firmly when using single DIN fasteners. The attachment around the dash is also poor, the factory radio snaps in very tightly, but as this kit does not include new dash clips you will have to pry off and reuse the factory ones. They just don't work as well the second time around. So the left side of the dashboard doesn't sit flush, it's slightly curved and again looks really bad. The color on the cold side of my warm/cold setting wasn't fully colored. So the light only glows, the hot side is red, but instead of blue for the cold, only the OEM dash color glows where the paint is missing. Overall the kit works but the fit and finish is very poor. I actually ordered two of these in the hope that the first one might have been an accident, unfortunately it wasn't.
