Review on 🌧️ Ivation IVADM45 Intelligent Dehumidifier - Powerful Mid-Size Thermo-Electric Unit with Auto Humidistat for Small Spaces up to 100 Sq Ft by Sierra Moore

To be honest I'm not impressed. I have a 12 x 13 x 8 (1240ft^3) workspace where I store hydrophilic 3D printing filaments. I originally purchased an Ivation IVADM45 (advertised for a 2200ft^3 room) to maintain relative humidity at or below 40% RH. The expected task did not complete. In fact, it only condenses about 4-6 ounces of water per day rather than the advertised 20 ounces. So I added an Ivation GDM30 (also advertised for a 2200 ft^3 area). Between the two at each end of the room, I expected that my goal could be accomplished with two runners. They didn't seem to be working as advertised, so I purchased an AcuRite 00613 room humidity monitor specifically for this room. I tested it with another hygrometer in the house and they agreed, so I assume the AcuRite 00613 Indoor Humidity Monitor works fine. The end result is that they don't work as expected. I think I'd be in a better position to spend the $200 I spent on Ivation units on a larger typical dehumidifier. half full or needs to be emptied. I received the Ivation IVADM45 on February 27th and the Ivation GDM30 on March 6th. The room itself is fairly hermetically sealed with a new window - double glazed windows, inert gas, UV protection - with the blinds closed. The door is a regular room door that I reinforced with caulk and kept it closed as much as possible. I have remote cameras in the room so I don't have to go in and out as often. I complained, received two new units quickly and politely to replace others that obviously didn't work. The new units had the same result. In the whole time I've had them (3 full months already) they've never performed better than 7-10 percent compared to the rest of the house when ALL FOUR are working. Definitely not suitable for my needs. I plan on getting rid of them and getting the expensive pad I was supposed to have!
