This is a basic grounding kit. It is optimized for VHF and higher frequencies. I only saw two of the adjusting screws when I opened the packaging. Uh oh Turns out the two missing were in holes that already had set screws in them. The holes are so deep that you can screw in two grub screws and not notice it. So check all four set screw holes before complaining to the manager. So if you intend to use this below FM, this isn't for you. 2 meters, 220MHz, 440 and above you will succeed. For bands higher than VHF/2 meters, you do not need to cut the radial ground strips. I mean if you put a UHF NMO antenna on the roof of a car, will you trim the car's roof down to 6 inches? no You can always have more soil than you need, but not less. I cannot confirm the weather resistance of this kit. I use mine for the attic. If it were outside I would pay attention to the base. You may need to seal everything. Around the connector, on the underside of the NMO base, etc. So far this kit has met my expectations and I'm very happy with it.
