Review on 🌬️ Miele HEPA AirClean SF-HA 50: High-Performance Allergen Cleaning Solution by Chris Burks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not to be confused with the activated carbon version

This is a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulates) filter and the word Active in the product name is a typo. The "Active" variant (model SF-AA-50) with activated carbon is cheaper, but without ultra-fine HEPA filtration. Since I've been using them for a few years, I just go out and buy these Miele originals. I don't trust other Chinese copycat filters. When you first install it, you can press a small button on the side that activates a chemical reaction "timer" to show the remaining filter life on the indicator strip. Interestingly, mine was shipped entirely from England (third party: BuyParts). Getting an international package for a basic vacuum filter was exotic.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Very expensive
