This pin is definitely pink, not red, no matter how you look at it. Some vintage cars might have color issues, but I like it. I think it adds to the vintage. My father is a classic car collector and I inherited my love for cars from him. He'll probably try to take it, but I'm not ready to give it up just yet. I actually pinned it to one of my hats and it looks amazing. The pen has a locking back that attaches to the center post. For a costume or "costume jewelry" it is quite durable. The enamel on the front of the pin is not perfect but well done. I know that this material is difficult to work with. All in all, an absolutely adorable pin!
