Review on HydroGardener Replacement Filter for Home Master ISetTMA8 by Martin Alvarez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It was very easy to change, everything worked the first time, everything worked.

Home Master ISetTMA8 Artesian and HydroGardener replacement filters, I bought these replacement filters for my Master Home Artesian reverse osmosis system to replace the filters. leaks. I didn't cut a quarter inch of the hose but made sure it was clean and clear with clean water and then plugged it into the filter port. Before removing old filters, pay attention to the flow direction marked on them, you need to make sure you install the filter with the same flow direction as the old one (each filter has an arrow pointing up or down). If you have leaks, make sure your hose is fully inserted. Remember to empty the tank at least once, I did it twice just to be sure. Do not forget that every time you turn on the main value for the system, you must do it slowly, otherwise you can damage the system. The filters have only been around for 3 days but if anything changes I'll come back and edit my review. but so far so good. I also needed to pressurize the tank, so I bought a pump and pressure gauge. You don't have to do that with the filter change, I had to do that. Sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AAT7OMW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Both are great for me. Maintain a maximum tank pressure of 8psi, but make sure the tank is empty or your pressure gauge is wrong. An empty tank weighs 8 pounds (3.2 gallons). After draining, check the pressure in the tank with a pressure gauge and if it is below 7.5psi use the pump to add air. I also wanted to thank Tim the technician from Home Master (Tap Master) who was very understanding and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
