My kids school changed the school dress code from the ubiquitous blue pants to an expensive gray flannel that could only be bought at a local school uniform store (can you say "MONOPOLY" ) "?). They reportedly did it in the name of looks and quality, disregarding the fact that keeping guys in good pants no matter how you cut them is expensive, and quality isn't that important, though considering how fast these kids grow up. Sure, I don't mind paying for quality that lasts a decade, but for teenagers? They won't fit in these pants in 10 months, let alone 10 years! So why pay for "high quality", nice looking uniform pants that are donated once and then sent to a charity closet? So I looked for a cheaper alternative and found this. They hold up well to a weekly wash and I hope they hold up in the hands of a little brother too.
