Review on Capetsma Aquascape Stainless Aquarium Tweezers by David Bone

NO austenitic stainless steel! They are cheap chrome alloy!

Great starter kit, but be warned: after each use you need to make sure every crevice is wiped dry with these poorly made ADA fakes from China. If you leave these tools overnight, even slightly damp, they will rust. When that happens, you'll end up with pretty rundown aquascaping tools. These things rust like an old tin can. I kept these tools in perfect condition and treated them the same as my ADA kit. Despite this, they managed to rust to the point where they became unusable. Don't mislead people. The presentation of these tools looks incredible, but there is no doubt that the metals are a mixture of fillers and absolutely NOT austenitic stainless steel - they are made of the cheapest Chinese alloy steel mixed with chromium and who knows what. I bought this set at the end of July and by mid-October they were unusable. With the money you spent on that crappy disposable set that you end up having to buy another and another to replace, you could use that money to buy a quality real stainless steel aquascaping tool set from ADA , Buce or Aquarium Cooperative to buy.

Pros
  • Multifunctional - ideal for maintaining all types of aquarium plants, clean aquarium soil and aquarium gravel. Besides, it can be used as an algae scraper and bonsai tool, helping to keep the fish tank clean and the garden beautiful.
Cons
  • Expensive
