The phone docks to my Pixel 2 XL with no problems, the height adjustment works as expected but the dock does not charge the phone. If you unplug the dock and connect the cable directly to the phone, it will charge normally. The problem is in the dock itself. I contacted the seller for a replacement. If they do everything right, I'll revise the review and update this text. *** UPDATE - Encased sent me a second document. This also costs nothing. They just don't charge your Pixel 2 XL as advertised. Good docking station, but does not charge. Period. When you disconnect this USB-C cable from the dock and connect it to your phone, it will charge normally. If you connect the cable to the docking station and then place your phone on the docking station, it will not charge. Just like this one.
