I love this wrist brace. First there is a small elastic loop that is worn around the wrist and then a larger bandage is applied. I had problems with my right hand (my hand with a computer mouse!) for several weeks and my best bandages ended up being too long for just my wrist. The best bandages turned out to be too bulky, so I looked for a better option. This brace fitted my wrist well and didn't get in the way of my thumb or fingers but put just enough pressure on my wrist to help and provide support so I could work and use the mouse without pain. As an indication of wrist size, I wear an 8" (flush) or 9" (loose fitting) bracelet when measuring my entire wrist with a soft tape measure. This can help you determine if a corset is right for you or not.
