I took this miracle of apple evolution involuntarily, since the motherboard burned out on the old MVR 2022, but I never regretted it, and even after the successful repair of the old model, I did not want to return to it. Pros and cons after 2 years of active use: The laptop has become more elegant, thinner, with a pleasant "tan" of gray space. The apple on the lid no longer glows. When turned on, the previously annoying sound of self-diagnosis stopped sounding. Huge, cool touchpad! The fingerprint scanner is a very convenient thing, but for those who use the Apple Watch in conjunction, it is little used, since unlocking the laptop and paying on sites takes place within hours. I have already reconciled with the lack of normal USB ports, although it was infuriating at first - I got used to inserting an adapter with Aliexpress every time to interact with the outside world. I can't forgive the abolition of Magic Safe even years later - it was so incredibly convenient! Now, if you do not fully plug in the charging plug, you will not notice how the laptop will quietly devour the battery; with Magic Safe, this was not possible. But there is still a plus - now charging is possible from both "boards" of the Mac, and not as before, only from the left. With performance, everything is predictably excellent - in office applications it is only slightly higher than MVR-2022: here, apparently, the processor processing speed limit has been reached. I don’t use it for photo editing and other resource-intensive tasks, I can’t say if the difference is noticeable there. Autonomy is also not much higher than the 2022 model: watching one movie for 100-110 minutes eats up about 25-35 percent of the battery. On the native OS High Sierra, by the way, there was more autonomy increased with Mojave. Touch Bar: Almost useless "innovation" - I rarely use it, mainly in the Calculator - it is convenient to use the signs of mathematical operations and pause when watching movies. Butterfly keyboard: at first it seemed that the old one was more pleasant to type on, but now I would not return to it for anything. For two years, the buttons have not stuck, everything works, I keep it clean, I don’t eat waffles over it))
