Updated 12/30/2020: These chairs are terrible. I wish I had never bought them. The back "claps" several times in rapid succession without direct contact, only from the forward movement. The seat padding is designed more for looks and makes your bottom, hips and thighs sore for up to 30 minutes. If you have your eye on that good cheap hunting chair for the blind, don't. The same applies to office use. I purchased four (4) of these chairs (2 black, 2 red) for use in deer stables in the fall of 2020. The seat cushions are oddly designed, with more padding on the sides (under the hamstrings). and very little cushioning in the gluteal/coccyx area. They are very uncomfortable when sitting for a long time. I bought gel seat pads to add to the seat and it made a huge difference but also added $20-$30 to the cost of the chair. I might have been better off buying a better chair, but that ship has sailed away. The frame slams loudly at irregular intervals with no discernible causal movement/displacement. Not suitable for deer hunting. Don't waste money.
