Review on Sennheiser E935 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld by Stephanie Traub

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clarity and versatility

We're a three-piece band. family group. My daughter is 15 years old, she has a beautiful alto, not too powerful. My son, 13 years old, is getting used to his voice change, he has gone from alto to restless baritone. But a lot of power and perfect hearing. As for me, I'm a bass that can go pretty high. We play a variety of songs, from Obladi-Oblada to Fly me to the Moon, from Classic Rock to Classic Jazz. Some we shout, some we whisper. Also, we don't have a microphone designed for one person. That's because each of us plays 4, 5 or 6 instruments and we're constantly changing. Almost every song has its own setup. Sometimes we sing solo, sometimes accompanying, depending on the situation. So now that you understand the situation, I have to say that I only bought one of these Seinheisers. Wanted to try and replace an old EV 967 seems to be their number we had. We really liked the electric car. We run them through the Bose L2 system. There is a melody slider. This little controller is very helpful in identifying the hardware you are connecting to it. It was for EV. So I tried Seinheiser. it shines through It's so clear, so bright, so precise. We study mixing, dynamics, articulations, harmonies. We all hear. Seinheiser designs every detail. So I bought 3 more Seinheiser e935s. One on drums, one on bass, one on guitar and one on keyboards. They are all set up the same: same volume, same EQ, same finish, same reverb. We love her. Also, they are heavy. You feel like a good master. My kids generally protect gear, but they're still childish and grown-up and clumsy. These microphones didn't move. They remain with the same characteristics. They were dropped, hit, slapped several times. You still go strong. We have three rehearsals a week. It was a great time, these Seinheisers helped a lot. It makes us aware of what we are singing. There is no muddy sound here. Just regular music if we can handle it.

Pros
  • Cardioid polar pattern: Isolation from other signals on stage
Cons
  • A few little things
