The glue is not very comfortable on the skin

My grandson loves patches and drawings, but the glue is not very comfortable on the skin. They stick too tight and are quite painful to remove and leave marks on my grandson's face where they were glued. Some comments mention a time limit of 6 hours and that should help, and that whites turn on and off more easily than darker ones. I found THAT correct.
