Overall I wasn't too impressed with the cartridges but they were both fully compatible and working. My only concern is the print quality. The ink isn't dark enough and when I printed some schoolwork I used a factory cartridge, not one bought here. To compare quality, I printed the same document with a factory 600 dpi cartridge and a replacement cartridge with 600 dpi and 1200 dpi settings. I could immediately distinguish the original cartridge from the replacement cartridge. Even after changing the dpi setting I didn't see much improvement. For school and paper printouts that may end up being sent to the shredder, these cartridges do a decent job. If I had to print important documents related to my patients and medical records that might require a signature or be kept for a long period of time, I might be more hesitant.
