beautiful but unfamiliar tablecloth

I own half a dozen of these tablecloths. They're beautiful to look at and easy to care for, just throw them in the washing machine and tumble dry low, no ironing needed! They appear to be very stain resistant and that is saying something as my family tends to spill things and red wine is the usual "Oops!". Spraying on Oxy-clean before washing works like magic! A word of warning, these tablecloths are so thin they remind me of tights and they can "walk" (I learned this by vigorously attacking the stain with a Tide stain remover stick before going to Oxy-Clean - Spray changed). I have a cream colored flannel lined security napkin on my dining room table and I throw one of these tablecloths over it and it looks perfect. But if you're looking for a thick, durable, last-generation tablecloth like Grandma's, this isn't it. I simply prefer tablecloths for laying out carpets, so I like to use and wash them.

Pros
  • kitchen accessory combines the softness and look of cotton with the strength of polyester
Cons
  • wrinkled packaging
