I bought these clasps to attach paracord ends to homemade CoVid face masks. I figured since one side is flat the lock would fit flatter against the back of the head than rounded ones. Well I can't use them on my masks because they are very difficult to thread: I've struggled and fought to get the cord to end through separate holes. (You'll need almost 4 hands to hold the spring while putting the zip ties in this lock!) I'm sure this lock can be used, but only for cables that are very difficult to keep in place; not for a lighter project like a sheet face mask.
