This is a sturdy little ottoman that can be used as a folding box. It was easy to set up, roomy enough inside to put a few casts in and just the right height to use as a footstool. I've sat on it a few times and it seems to be holding my weight pretty well. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 146 pounds. I don't know if it's suitable for a tall man or several people, but a couple of children or an adult can easily sit on it. It appears to be of good quality. I've only had it a month, but it shows no signs of wear yet. The top is soft and comfortable. My only complaint is that it is a darker gray than shown in the picture. I tried to match it to my gray chair and based on the picture. it looked like a good match. In fact, it was much darker than my chair. It's a very dark grey, more like anthracite. If you're looking for a medium gray, this is a lot darker than what I would call a medium gray. .
