This mat is so perfect that I’m writing this review three minutes after I laid it down.It’s a great size, and I think I could have used the long side perpendicular or parallel to my desk. My chair rolls on it well; I’m not rolling at 60mph like I was pre-mat. And my chair rolls silently. It also adds a little warmth to my basement hardwood floors.The best part, though, is the backing. When I read reviews I thought it was adhesive-backed. I’m not sure what it’s made of, but when you pull off the cellophane and lay it down, it sets perfectly and adheres to the floor with ease. No rolled up corners, no issue if you have to move it. It’s awesome.It doesn’t look super luxe, but that doesn’t bother me. It seems moderately durable. If you have cats, though, I think they could shred and wreck it in a second.
