Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass Black by Kro Montrea ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

I am satisfied with the device, taking into account the price of about 15,000. Has some pros Great device. I won’t dwell on the sound quality, it’s better to go and listen, but the sound suited me completely. Someone wrote about extraneous sounds (short hisses) at low volume, the remark is true for dolby digital, there are no problems when switching to pcm, but who will listen to dolby digital at minimum volume ?! As an advantage, I especially want to note the presence of two hdmi ports, one of them is hdmi arc. I have an old TV from Samsung, it does not have this connector (hdmi arc) and, as it turned out, it is not possible to broadcast sound coming via hdmi (in my case from mi box s) via spdif (optical output) to the soundbar in dolby digital format TV maybe. PCM (stereo) only. Without dolby digital, the use of the soundbar cannot be complete, so I connected mi box s via hdmi directly to the soundbar, from the soundbar (hdmi arc port) I connected the hdmi wire to the TV. Everything worked: dolby digital comes to the bar directly from the set-top box via hdmi, and the video (in full hd) goes further to the TV. Three devices (set-top box, soundbar and TV) are controlled by one remote control from the TV (via hdmi cec, the TV supports this technology. True, except for turning it on. You have to turn it on from the power button on the remote control from the set-top box / bar and all three devices turn on, but control the remote control from prefixes with the volume of the bar are not allowed, so the inclusion of one remote control, control - the remote control from the TV). In cheaper devices, as a rule, there is no hdmi arc port. I watched a couple of lg and samsungs, though a little cheaper, there from the connectors - only optics and usb (and then only service) so this trick would not work. For owners of TVs without hdmi arc, having it on the bar will be extremely useful (especially if it turns out that the TV cannot transmit dolby digital via optics), so pay attention when choosing. Got cons: With both hdmi and spdif ports inserted at the same time, priority goes to hdmi, that is, until the power is removed from HDMI, sound via SPDIF will not be played. Regardless of the selection of the appropriate "TV" mode. You have to remove the cable from the HDMI connector
