These lights are very good! They can be placed almost anywhere and are ideal for outdoor use. The board is pretty good. I can stand about 10 feet apart and it still communicates with the box as long as there are no obstacles between them. I've used them in our living room and around the railings. The nice thing is that they are hardly noticeable when switched off and are therefore not an eyesore, at least from the outside. They are nice and bright and you can adjust the brightness. You can also set a timer to turn them on at the same time every day. Very cool. They're great for the holidays and I'm sure they would be great for a wedding or dance. Or just add something special to your bedroom. One downside I can think of is that they get tangled easily. But they are very easy to mold into whatever structure you put them on.
