Rules stink, games okay

Family and I love board games. We play multiple games a week. The board and pieces are fun and are interesting. The wind changing each turn affecting movement is neat. The rules are awful. On pretty much each turn I was having to reference the rules for explanations. Many things weren’t explained in the rules which caused me to google questions regarding the game. There weren’t a lot of answers online yet either so we kinda just made up rules as we went. What we ended up playing was just okay…

Pros
  • Board Games
Cons
  • Not intended for quick gameplay, sessions can last a couple of hours or more

The game itself is very good. The atmosphere it has is very nice supported with great artwork. I cant wait to put a few more hrs of playtime into it.Kind of unfortunate:I have ordered two at a very nice price. They both came, one in good condition one in not such a good condition. They were shipped separately (idk why) and one came in a plastic bag so all the corners of the game’s box were messed up a little and one came in a paper box which did a much better job of protecting the game.

Pros
  • I love this game and have bought it for a couple of friends.
Cons
  • Theme may not appeal to everyone, particularly those who are not interested in aviation

It's fine on my review.

I'll jump right into it:Pros:-There is a good amount of strategy involved but no so much it would scare you away from playing with more casual board gamers-I thought all the components were pretty nice-I'd consider it a medium difficulty game, so there is something there for beginners but enough to keep people that like more complex games interested-I love the theme of the game.-It's fairly quick. Depending on group size you can finish in between 1-2 hours.-Setup and tear down are pretty easy…

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Takes a significant amount of time to learn the rules and game mechanics

No Downside to an Airship board game!

What my collection really needed was an airship board game. It is a blast to play, and goes pretty quickly each play through. I haven’t played it solo or coop yet, but the standard competitive is a ton of fun. The rules may seem a little much at first, but they are pretty intuitive once you are playing.

Pros
  • With the ability to accommodate up to five players at once, Windward offers a great party game experience that everyone will enjoy
Cons
  • Limited opportunity for social interaction, as players may focus on their individual game strategies

Missing components: my feedback

My copy came with 0 battle dice and the purple ship was broken. I'll get a replacement and try another copy. Will give up if there are issues with the other copy. Card quality isn't great. Long boat colors aren't really distinct. Hoping gameplay is gonna be fun

Pros
  • The strategic depth and challenging gameplay of Windward make it a great choice for gamers looking for a fun and engaging tabletop game that will keep them coming back for more
Cons
  • May not be suitable for players seeking a game that is fun or relaxing

Great fun game best in my review

This is a fun game once you figure out the rules. Rule book isn’t the greatest but the other components are high quality and great design. The game itself is kinda opennworld card drafting , worker placement with lots of ways to win and lots of ways to lose. You can be a pirate or a gas collector or a scientist and tag the animals the others will hunt.

Pros
  • Windward's deep and immersive theme will transport you to a captivating world of sky pirates and daring adventure, providing a unique and satisfying gaming experience
Cons
  • Not suitable for players who are not interested in aviation or history

Family fun! in my review

A complicated, exciting game. The whole family played together from 5 years to 50 yearsThanks for creating this game! Some players may find the pieces and components too small and fiddly!

Pros
  • With its beautifully designed game board and high-quality components, Windward is a visually stunning game that will be a colorful addition to any game collection
Cons
  • Some players may find the pieces and components too small and fiddly

Horrible instructions, fun game, terrible packaging

Best to watch a YouTube tutorial to get useable instructions. Fun once you get past the learning curve. Will want to set the game on fire again when trying to box the pieces as the packaging isn’t made to keep all the tokens separate.

Pros
  • Perfect for solo play or a group game night with friends and family, Windward offers endless hours of fun and strategic gameplay that everyone will enjoy
Cons
  • The game can only be played on a flat surface, limiting portability and accessibility

Lots of value, not the greatest quality.

I found this game at a steep discount, and I believe I know why. The quality of manufacture is quite poor- but the gameplay itself has the potential of being great; if this game is polished and released as a "finished” product. To start off; I found this for around $25 on sale so I’m not too disappointed for that money spent. However, the lack of quality really annoyed me, to the point of wanting write a review so others can have the proper expectations. The copy I received had multiple flaws…

Pros
  • Windward's innovative gameplay mechanics will keep you engaged and challenged as you strategize to master the skies and outmaneuver your opponents
Cons
  • The game requires a considerable amount of setup time before each session

A new, fun game with almost no cons

I am really enjoying everything about this game so far. The playstyle is very unique, with multiple layers of action on the single board, interesting piece movement rules, and a challenging single-player game mode (which is what I have mostly played). In terms of quality, the board and game pieces are what you'd expect for any top of the line board game. The only downside is that the rulebook could use some better examples and images. While it does give a decent overview of the rules, using a…

Our Christmas shopping adventure

My grandkids each get $100 at a local bookstore but they can use it at ebay to make the costs of their books cover more The game may seem repetitive after multiple plays.

Pros
  • MASTER THE SKIES—Harness the power of ever-changing winds and get ahead of opponents by using the wind in creative and clever ways
Cons
