I colored the picture when I received it for the first time today to try. My photo doesn't convey what the glitter looks like, but the pins are very shiny. Some reviews say there is too much glitter but I don't think there is more than other pens. I cannot confirm the claim that there is more ink than other pens, only time will tell. I was glad they all wrote right at the gate and I didn't have to write anything to get them to write. There were no gaps, the paint flowed well. I reduced the size of 100+ glitter gel pens to color and found that no needed colors are missing. Definitely good pens.
