My smartphone (where text is unreadable due to its small size), a reader, and a laptop replaced the tablet. I used the original Samsung Galaxy Tab S, 10.5", for Android 6.0 for a long time, but when I finally had to upgrade in November 2022, the limited options available on Android tablets led me to settle on the Tab S5e. Unfortunately, it was only half as good as the previous model (the new one has a shimming screen, which the old one did not have despite having AMOLED; the new model's screen displays unpleasant shades and "iridescence" depending on the viewing angle; the new model's screen's unpleasant color reproduction was not completely cured by the internal settings of the screen; I had to install and keep the third-party ColorCalibrator application constantly on, and it eats the battery); and When you reach the bottom of the screen while scrolling, the page will either close or become unresponsive. Plus, everything from the menus to the placement of the cameras has been carelessly borrowed from mobile devices; after all, they figured, "Who uses a 10.5-inch tablet in a vertical orientation?" The fact that the 2022 model's screen was perfect out of the box and didn't even need replacing after five years (albeit the battery did expire and the 16GB system drive clogged uncleanably, else it would have sat on it further) is extremely disheartening.
