I have been using this camera for a few months now and am very satisfied. I love the high quality looks and compactness of this powerful little device. It was on sale so I think I got a good deal. It took me a while to get used to just using the screen to frame a photo, not the viewfinder. It's difficult to find the right focus and get the shot right with a mini camera like this, but I rarely have to edit or correct my photos. In most cases they are clear and with bright colors. I love the fact that I can put this camera in my pocket or holdall and go. No stupid lens cap to keep track of. Yes! I recommend Coolpix to everyone, expert or beginner, to get good photos. Note. Photo editing software has a steep learning curve. I gave up and kept using my Olympus Master photo editor which is the best I've ever used: simple, easy to navigate and allows you to save photos by name in folders I name.
