Not for house pressure systems; it can drip
As others have noted this fitting is not as strong as it should be and leaks easily. I tried using it in a home pressure situation where it needed to hold around 60psi. It failed miserably. I would NOT recommend this for normal home static pressure (30-70 psi). It will likely work in negative pressure systems like drip irrigation systems etc, but don't expect it to draw much or hold the pressure. I gave it three stars because it probably works well in low pressure environments where the occasional drop isn't important. It just didn't work for my application.
