Not-So-Smart Light: Recessed Lights

I've been testing this product for about 2 years now with a 6" retrofit and a Wink 1 hub. It worked flawlessly. When we decided, just these Using lighting for our basement renovation is where the real problems started. We bought a total of 36 lights, (28) 6" cans and (8) 4" cans. They started acting weird as if some lights stayed on and others just couldn't add all the lights.I spent over two months adding all the lightbulbs to Wink Hub 1. I figured it might be a wifi issue so I bought a new Wink 2 and went with mine Router connected. This didn't help solve the problem. Here's what I noticed: - Couldn't add all 30+ lights (need to delete some lights to add more) - Some Lic hter were simply switched off and on. On or off, they seemed to have a mind of their own. Some lights wouldn't reset no matter how many times I tried, and others wouldn't add to the system. Over 50% overall failure rate on 6" cans and over 75% failure rate on 4" cans. I just got off the phone with Wink and they have had issues with these bulbs on many occasions and based on their findings have stated that 32 is the maximum number of bulbs you can add to your network (basically my problem). The reason for this is that these lamps do not have the hardware needed to create the necessary mesh network (repeater for wifi) for the lamps to call back the hub.
