This is a very soft scarf in beautiful neutral colors: beige, black and bright red. The weaving is dense, individual fibers are not visible. This is a beautiful classic pattern that suits many modern and classic looks. The solid black, red, and beige tones are in sharp contrast to the softer intermediate squares, which contain both black and beige. This is indeed a scarf that suits both men and women and I wouldn't say its design is overly masculine or feminine. The fabric doesn't sting at all, but this 100% wool is the softest. I would recommend hand washing and line drying this scarf. It also smells nice right out of the box. This is a medium weight scarf that will keep you warm in cold winter conditions.
