Make sure the water is the right temperature

We used these bags for keeping rabbits. They may be slightly oversized for this purpose, although I suspect that depends on your meat weight. Ours were on the smaller side. never mind We simply cut off the excess bag after shrinking. Keep the thermometer in the water. If it's not hot enough, it won't shrink completely! Instead of making a vent, we slipped the straw through a nearly narrow zippered hole into the rabbit's chest cavity. The shrinking process is really fun if you do it right. We were overly proud of our finished product. We will buy this brand again!
