Don't follow the instructions (pictures) Build from the bottom up

The illustrations will drive you crazy. When you start building a block, build from the bottom shelf up. Note the two screw holes for the top shelf on the inside of each leg. These two screw holes on each leg should fit the top shelf and become a necessary item for the entire table. You can move the middle tray to the side position after the top and bottom trays are attached.
