Received in the mail just in time, unpacked, installed batteries and put them in my tool box. A few days later I took it out to check the chain in my garage and it turned out to be dead. I connected the fan and it started up immediately. I tested it again with a voltage tester and it read dead. Not only that, I tried it on several other ships and they were all dead. I checked the batteries and they were fine. Just in case I put in new batteries I bought a few days earlier and got the same results. I tested it on bare wires that I knew were hot and after the 4th set it showed a live circuit. Of course I'm glad I didn't cut the wire and find out what it was like live. At my age this could be the last. This case is back.
