I love this closed litter box! My guests report that they don't smell cat litter at all and neither do I. The spatula stays inside. I thought Sequoia didn't know how to get in and out of the new box. At first she entered and exited at the top, but quickly realized that she could enter through the front door and exit at the top. She really seems to be enjoying it! It's not difficult to clean. The litter scrapes off the floor easily so I no longer have to use toilet liners. The drawer slides out from the front so I can add more junk or keep it submerged easily. At first it was very easy to assemble without having to bother with the instructions. I chose this one because it seemed larger than some of the others I looked at and the Sequoia is quite a large cat so she needed a roomy cat and this is perfect for her.
