This is a very well built and thought out wall unit. It's way better than the flat mount we had, but the bright light from the new ceiling fan was driving us nuts so I bought this tilting mount. They did a great job providing lots of mounting hardware for different brands, sizes etc. It even comes with a small bubble level. Even with our 60-inch flat screen, it's pretty solid. However, you really have to think twice about what you're doing, because the instructions say nothing! Latch them and then insert the wall piece in and see where it sits on the TV. Due to the position of the screws on the back of my TV, mine was not centered at all. If I just went to the next drawing and screwed the piece of wall where I thought it should be as shown in the instructions, it would look ridiculous above the chimney because it would be off-center in height by a mile. By doing it this way you can get a really good idea of how everything fits together and then measure how far the wall plate is from the top and bottom of the TV in the brackets. Be sure to use these offsets to measure the desired distance from the wall THEN install the wall plate accordingly. I hope this saves you hundreds of different holes in the wall. Apart from the information who don't account for installation variances this is a very good wall mount and as said I think they have done a great job of making it as versatile as possible with all the hardware that comes with it. Just be prepared to do some pre-game math before committing to anything, because instructions leave a lot of room for impatient error. Hope that helps.
