If you can put them on so they don't split in half.
This is fine and comes with lots of extra grippy stuff BUT you need to make sure you are a size big enough to put on the performance/ice boots (I think they match the shoes and the shoes are less bulky.). If they aren't big enough and you pull on them, even a little, the rubber will break in two. We have booked two couples for a trip to Iceland which we will not be doing now; They will be working on aerating the lawn next spring! Tip: Order one size larger if you are at the upper limit of size.
