I bought this for my new memory foam mattress because my youngest has been known to sneak into bed at night and I don't want a mess or stains. I'm very happy with it for several reasons: First, it doesn't make any noise at all. It's not cheap and it doesn't crease when you move like some do. Second, it fits perfectly and hasn't come loose from the edges in the weeks I've been using it. Note: This somewhat limits the compression of the foam as the foam compresses and distributes/transfers weight better than a ribbed sheet or tread. Because it fits snugly into the mattress, it slows down the "diving" that I'm used to because it just can't stretch in all the directions that the foam can. But that doesn't bother me and my wife, and we're still sinking, but not as fast.
