Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Bought on 11/23/2022 at a suggested price of 68k. I don't know if the price matches the quality. On the forum, overclockers read the idea that OEM versions can be worse than box ones, they take a lower IF frequency. Plus maybe my copy was taken away, I'm paranoid, yes. In any case, for my instance, FCLK=1900 is a stable maximum. It starts on 2022, but there are a lot of yellow WHEAs in the magazine, and the system lags. And it's not about the memory, I tried to put the memory at 3200 out of…

Pros
  • Great single-threaded performance and many cores. For a home working PC, this is really a top solution. For a workstation, it's probably better to wait for a new threadripper or take a 10980xe.
Cons
  • Can be unstable even in stock, there are many precedents.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I have been sitting at 7700k since January 17th in conjunction with the gtx 1080ti, this year it seemed that it was somehow lacking, even with a slight overclock to 4.9-5.0. In some projects of interest to me, the processor was loaded at 90% -100%. Forza horizon 4; death stranding (as it turned out, she loves a lot of cores and is able to evenly distribute the load up to 16 cores (with smt disabled)), Star Citizen (she manages to "parallelize" the load even with smt enabled, i. E. for all…

Pros
  • + low heat dissipation (compared to competitor) + high performance + . in the future I will add
Cons
  • I use the third day of the assembly - I have not yet managed to find it. If it appears, I will add as I use it.

Requires a good body kit for maximum boost in PBO mode: MP with a good and not overheating power supply, a well-ventilated case, preferably custom water, a good PSU (I have platinum at 850 W and back to back, paired with 3090, a load of 700 W easily exceeds but I need also stock).

Pros
  • Ultimate performance in everything, including games. Now you can stream (x264) with good quality (FullHD or QHD 60 fps) and the video card is only busy with the game for maximum quality and fps (RTX3090).
Cons
  • There are problems with some copies of processors on some MPs, even with the ate of their bios, some of the problem remains. Lack of voltage at the maximum boost of some cores with a single-threaded load, which led to crashes in Windows or even the inability to boot the system (on the first BIOS, it was solved only by disabling the core boost in the BIOS). Depending on the motherboard, you may need to manually configure the BIOS to stop the crashes, but first of all ate the BIOS (it is highly desirable that the ate includes AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.0).

Great product, best quality.

There was a problem with "sudden reboots" on default bios settings. Only the type options have been changed. built-in audio / incl. cpu virtualization / incl. ErP support. In general, for no reason, the computer was sent to reboot. Sometimes the problem did not return for a month. After a reboot, you can see this entry in the winodws event logs. - Event 18, WHEA Logger A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type:

Pros
  • Performance
Cons
  • Apparently there are defective copies on sale, I hope I just had problems with the old software.

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Basically, that's why I'm writing this review. The processor has an interesting feature, it adapts to the performance of the cooling system. For example, with NZXT Kraken X53 CTR showed Bronze sample, and after installing custom CBO it became Golden sample. So it's possible that we all have them Golden, it's just that the CO does not allow it to be revealed. Conclusion: put good water, and the number of radiator sections is not critical, unlike the water block itself and its design.

Pros
  • All the advantages have already been described: 1. Multithreading 2. Performance
Cons
  • Heat dissipation, and specific per unit area of chiplets.

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Build: 5950x, x570 aorus master, gskill 3600 cl19 64gb, dark rock pro 4, corsair hx1000, gigabyte 2060 super. After the assembly, the mother demanded a new BIOS, after installing the BIOS and Windows, everything started up. The RAM started at 2400, in the BIOS they set the profile to 3600, went to 3600. The idle temperatures were around 40, in the stress test for 10 minutes 70-73, in the still open case and without case fans (except for the main blower at the back). I'm attaching a photo of the

Pros
  • Bye bye
Cons
  • Nothing yet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

On average, it turns out ~ 4.6 GHz for all cores for a 32x stream and ~ 5 GHz for a 1-2 stream. With "auto-overclocking" through CTR 2.1, the test results are worse. How Golden Sample was defined in it.

Pros
  • Very nice processor. After settings, it outperforms 32-core 64-thread Threader in Cinebench23. Crosshair VIII Extreme mother, regular AMD 128GB @ 3333 memory. Cooling kraken three-section. Everything is set up so that in idle time it is almost silent.
Cons
  • Stock performance is underestimated relative to real capabilities. A rather complicated overclocking strategy if the goal is to get both a fast low-flow and a cold multi-thread. Tried many options up to PBO Shaminocharged + Voltage Suspension. But I didn’t bother at all (I didn’t select multipliers for each core separately)

By the way, I have a B450 AORUS ELITE mother, and I read somewhere that this percentage will not sit on her, as a result, everything works fine. Dropsy took ID-COOLING ZoomFlow 360X ARGB, not expensive, but performs the function.

Pros
  • Prots top, for work especially in 3d, a worthwhile thing. Air cooling immediately disappears, buy dropsy. At idle it gave out a temperature of 25, and during a stress test no higher than 70. Accelerated to 5000 GHz, stable 4000 GHz.
Cons
  • Expensive, but when compared with blue, it's a penny)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I am delighted with the capabilities of the processor. The comparison is not entirely correct, but I switched from an i7 6700k skylake that I bought in 2022. and the 5950s feel like switching from a Prius to a sports car.

Pros
  • At the time of writing (March 2022), there are practically no tasks that this processor could not handle. Both in games and in working with 3D graphics, judging by the load, he feels that these tasks are kindergarten for him. The potential is huge.
Cons
  • Get ready for high heat dissipation under load. Either a large tower cooler (Noctua NH-D15 or equivalent) or a dropsy is desirable. This is more likely not a drawback, but a reminder that good cooling is needed for such power.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

My build: ryzen r9 5950x + dropsy DeepCool Captain 240Ex mother Asus strix 570f gaming video rtx 2080ti 4 sticks of RAM G. Skill 3200mhz cl14 (Below I wrote an with a new cooler) I suffered for a very long time with the fact that in the drain the percentage is at 60+ degrees, after the BIOS ate in December, the temperatures dropped slightly to 45 degrees. So not only is it hot in stock, it's also super low in benchmarks. According to CPU-Z, it gives out 630 per core and 11400 per multithread…

Pros
  • - A lot of threads - Great performance - Now my rtx2080ti competes with the processor in rendering speed XD
Cons
  • - I did not expect that my dropsy would not cope with the cooling of this monster

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I am engaged in the development of mobile applications, the system was going exclusively for the constant compilation of large projects without regard to games. Config: Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950x GPU: ASUS DUAL Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO OC 8GB RAM: G. SKILL TRIDENT Z NEO (F4-3600C16D-64GTZN) SSD: Samsung 980 Pro Water cooled ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB. Compiling projects with the emulator heats the stone up to 63-65, it was possible to warm up to 81 as much…

Pros
  • - Performance - Performance - And once again productivity
Cons
  • Missing

Bought recently. Replaced my 3700x. Works with ▶MOTHER: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WI-FI) ▶CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X OEM ▶Video: GeForce RTX2080 Super Gigabyte AURUS ▶COOLING: Fractal Design Celsius S36 Blackout ▶RAM: 64Gb DDR4 3600MHz G. Skill Trident Z RGB (F4-3600C16Q-64GTZRC) Temperatures are good for 32 threads under load in quiet mode. All tests in the screenshots are stock. Without overclocking the processor, with disabled prisizhzhn boost overdrive. Timings are also from the factory.

Pros
  • The ultimate solution in the desktop (home) segment. There are no compeors.
Cons
  • Recommended starting price from AMD itself. I have no questions about VAT when importing into the country and I have no extra charge. It is very difficult to a copy. There are very few processors in 2022. Missing in RF BOX version. (at the time of writing) Outbid who are trying to make money on them. Because of them, there are also many problems with the purchase.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I bought a scalped one with a replaced lid on ebay for 46k, given that they sell 3950x for this money, I decided to take a chance, in the store it’s a dubious idea to take a full price for a full price, too much overpayment from 3950x Other specs: aorus b550 pro v2, assassin 3, cm mwe bronz 550, be quiet pure base 500, patriot viper blackout 32gb x2 xmp3000cl16, gtx 1650 ____ : turned off the rvo because it was annoying to see 90 degrees, given that the computer sometimes renders for days, now…

Pros
  • Unique product - top in both gaming and working performance If you need a stone purely for work, then of course it’s not the most rational choice, there are zeons with the same performance cheaper But for the price that I took it without options)
Cons
  • Heats up with the RVO turned on fiercely: b550 aorus pro v2, assassin 3 = reaches 90 degrees under 100% load in the render, maybe turn it off because the increase in performance does not give a big I rebooted until I turned it on in the BIOS (there is another option to turn it off manually)

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

As an the 3950x without a clear need, I would not recommend it. It is interesting that in some loads, the processor can give out 4.5 GHz to all cores :D Now let's talk about overclocking and PBO, to be honest I don't see the point in this action for this stone. He himself in default (plugged in and turned on) is boosted almost to 5GHz. And yet still hot. So I didn't even try it.

Pros
  • The system is more responsive compared to the 3950x. Some slowdowns and random UI stutters have disappeared. The performance of the system in relation to the 3950x did not increase much. Compilation speed +/- is the same. The real frequency without PBO under load on 1 core is boosted to 4.975 GHz Now let's talk about games. Although I almost don’t play games, in those that I play, fps has grown noticeably, and the gameplay has become smoother.
Cons
  • With the same TPD as the 3950x with the same CBO without PBO turned on, we get temperatures 10-15 degrees higher. Which go up to 90 degrees. the memory controller is the same as in the 3950x. Price, it is even more expensive than the 3950x at the start

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

Intel is everything. Waited 15 years to return. Well weighed competitor. This is for you for the pasta in the top processes. For 7ki there is also firewood on USB and on the network. If someone is not in the know, then for COMPETITIVE benchmarking, you need 7ka as well. WR as of 07 12 20 for two tests delivered thanks to 5950x. The games are great too. If someone thinks that I'm a fan, the second computer is at 10900K. There is something to compare.

Pros
  • For benchmarking, a beast. Unpacking/installing everything, very fast. Before that, the 7960s was about two and a half years old. Accelerates perfectly even on a mother for 12(Giga X570 Gaming X)
Cons
  • The price is very far from the RRP

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Upgraded from an already ridiculous i7 4770 processor, the performance gain is, of course, unimaginable. I have been using it for several months now and I have never been able to load it at 100% yet, I used it both for work and in games with a lot of calculations. A maximum of 8 cores / 16 threads was loaded at 100%. That is, the total load is 50%. Bought for a price around 78k.

Pros
  • Number of cores, threads. Performance.
Cons
  • It's a shame, but there is no support for ddr5 / pcie5 (It's stupid to demand this from this processor, the year of release is not the same) It's hard to find a normal motherboard for this processor, socket. But this is basically AMD's problem.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Mother AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 Memory HyperX 3200 2*16 (planned 4*16) The system is on ssd nvme a-data s11 For cooling I took Cooler Master ML240L. In idle it gives out 36-40 degrees, the minimum load is 60-65 degrees (fans in quiet mode are about 50-60% of the nominal speed), this is higher than under good air, but such is its peculiarity, in fact at 60 degrees the system is in balance. Under load in the test, the osst is up to 80-85 degrees (summer, heat, individual cores accelerated…

  • Proc is a beast 💪
