Review on 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X by Wiktor Niedzicki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Upgraded from an already ridiculous i7 4770 processor, the performance gain is, of course, unimaginable. I have been using it for several months now and I have never been able to load it at 100% yet, I used it both for work and in games with a lot of calculations. A maximum of 8 cores / 16 threads was loaded at 100%. That is, the total load is 50%. Bought for a price around 78k.

Pros
  • Number of cores, threads. Performance.
Cons
  • It's a shame, but there is no support for ddr5 / pcie5 (It's stupid to demand this from this processor, the year of release is not the same) It's hard to find a normal motherboard for this processor, socket. But this is basically AMD's problem.
