As others have said this is not the highest quality product so I wouldn't trust putting anything too heavy on it but for the money and the size of the shelf it does I say it's a pretty good deal. I was looking for something to set up my consoles for my game room and this really worked out perfectly! (Sorry for the dirty desk. Still moving). I'm considering buying a second one for more of the same! In terms of assembly, this was the easiest thing I've ever put together. No tools required; You simply screw the posts together through holes in the wood. It worked very well and was ready in less than 5 minutes. I think unpacking took longer than assembling. If you are looking for quality furniture this is not for you. Again, if you're looking for quality furniture, you won't spend $25 on it. If you are looking for something cheap to organize small electronics in a small space I would recommend this.
