The 1/16" sheet metal is semi-rigid, transparent, strong and can be cut with scissors become or a Forstner bit. I'd say without heat it will bend about a 6-8 inch radius and rebound. I've had some success with deep cuts and snaps, but you have to cut very deep. Cuts well with a good quality aircraft grade tin snips (wear gloves or use caution as with tin). I've really enjoyed making holes of various sizes (from 1/2" to 1.5") with Forstner bits, but you **must keep the speed low** or you'll melt the plastic. Also, I used a drill press; Forstner bits are not very easy to handle in a pistol drill with any material.
